Qualified teacher offering tailored support for all needs.
My name is Becky, and I welcome you to my profile! I hold a degree in Mathematics (2014) and achieved my teaching qualification in 2015. During Sixth Form, I studied A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics. With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I have consistently helped my students achieve excellent results. I specialise in tutoring A-Level and Further Maths A-Level, but can also teach foundation and higher GCSE Maths, iGCSE Maths, and GCSE Further Maths. I am well-versed with Edexcel, AQA, OCR, and other exam boards.

My tutoring approach: To begin the journey, please provide your exam board and tier, enabling me to prepare appropriate materials for your lessons. Upon request, I can send a self-assessment outlining every topic on the syllabus. Completing this will help me identify topics the student feels confident in, areas they want to cover, and what has not been addressed in school. Alternatively, I can assess weaknesses through exam papers. Students are encouraged to discuss their school lessons or seek assistance with homework.
I𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻:
- Use a laptop or computer during lessons. If you’d like to contribute to the online whiteboard, a tablet or graphics pad can be especially helpful.
- Keep a dedicated notebook for lesson notes.
- Bring essential equipment: a pencil case with pens/pencils and a calculator.
𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆:
- Standard lessons: Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged at the full lesson price.
- Trial lessons: Must be cancelled at least 30 minutes before the start time. If not these are still charged full lesson price.
Agreement
By arranging sessions, you are agreeing to the terms above and in contract below. If you have any concerns or questions about these policies, please raise them with me before starting regular lessons.
Refusal to pay for lessons
If any lesson that has taken place remains unpaid — including lessons not cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy — compensation of £80 per invoice will be applied. In addition, interest at 30% per annum will accrue from the original due date until payment is received.
Please note: this policy applies only to lessons that have been delivered and remain unpaid, and is intended to cover cases of refusal to pay. In the vast majority of situations, this will not apply, as most clients settle promptly and in good faith.
